3 Ways to Capture Warm Leads Through Your Website
In our last blog post we talked about making sure you have clear calls to action on your website so that your website visitors turn into leads. But if you want to make sure you are capturing the people who are really keen to work with you, here are some ways to capture warm leads through your website.
Use a Simple Contact Form to Capture Warm Leads Through Your Website
If people are really keen to find out more about your service or have a question about one of your products, they want to ask it then and there even if it’s outside of your business hours. They don’t want to have to remember to phone at the right time. So having a simple contact form on your website that can turn into an email conversation or can take their phone number if they wish so you can phone back when you are in the office is a great way of starting a communication with someone who is really keen.
As an aside, a little extra tip, make sure contact forms work on mobile devices. So often we see contact forms on websites that don’t fit on a mobile screen or where the button isn’t clickable and that’s so frustrating because those website owners are missing out on potential clients or customers.
Use a Product or Service Picker to Capture Warm Leads
If people are unsure which product or service is right for them, having a little questionnaire on your website that gives them the answer based on a few questions that they answer is a really good idea. It means you have been instantly helpful and it also gives you an opportunity to ask for their email address at the end so you can continue to nurture the relationship with them.
Our plan picker on our pricing page is a good example of how this can be used at the point that your website visitor might be making a decision.
Capture Warm Leads Through Having a Calendar Booking Link on Your Website
By the time someone has decided they’d like to have a conversation with you to discuss working with you then they are a very warm lead. So make the process as smooth as possible for them to book in for a call. Don’t start a to and fro conversation trying to find out when you’re both free, have a calendar link on your website so people can book in easily and as part of the booking process, as above, ask if they’d be happy to be added to your email list so you can continue to stay in touch.
How to Turn Warm Leads into Clients
Once you’ve captured those warm leads through your website, it’s important to follow up with them specifically based on what they’ve asked for, what service or product you can see is right for them and what you’ve discussed.
It also helps if they are happy to be added to your email list to send them regular useful emails with relevant tips and offers to keep you in their mind for when they are ready to buy. If you are struggling to think what you would send in a regular email then this blog post might help.
