Ready Steady Websites® is Moving Home to a New Office in Romsey, Hampshire

Yes, Ready Steady Websites® will soon have a new office in Romsey, Hampshire not far from where we are on the edge of Southampton at the moment.

Why is Ready Steady Websites® moving home?

This new space will mean we have a presence in the town centre, a little space to meet clients in person, because it feels a bit silly talking to people on Zoom who are so close to us and we can get back to bumping into other local business owners when we get tempted to pop out for a bit of lunch.

Really we’re going back to our old home…

If you have keen eyes or have known us for a while you’ll know that Ready Steady Websites® is a registered trademark and trading name of our overarching business, 2^nd Floor Designs Ltd. A year or so after we started 2^nd Floor we moved into an office in Romsey and then moved to a different one in a slightly better location.

Then we decided during Covid to leave the office which made a lot of sense at the time and continued to make sense as most of the people we were working with weren’t local and online was the way to do business. But now we are regularly networking in person again and have more local clients it feels like the right time to have a business base away from home.

Why have we chosen an office in Romsey for Ready Steady Websites®?

We are moving back to the building we used to be in, which is beautiful with a lot of character, like us (old and slightly wonky 😅) and the landlord, who also has his architecture business in an office in the building, is lovely. The featured image is of the building, although as the Chrismas trees suggest, it wasn’t taken recently!

Also, Romsey is a beautiful town, with some thriving businesses, not only in web design and branding but a lot of industries and it’s nice to be amongst that.
