When you join you get instant access to our membership site where you'll find your success pathway document and our helpful worksheets on how to structure your site. These worksheets take you through the process of creating a sitemap, writing content, choosing images and planning your site. You'll also have instant access to all of our helpful video tutorials covering everything you could possibly imagine about creating your site.

When you're ready to get going you just fill out our "Get to know you" form with all of your details and we'll then create your site for you on our test server.

We'll upload your logo, colour palette, fonts and add the pages from your sitemap where we load in pre-designed layouts based on the names of your sitemap pages.

It's then over to you to add in all of your content, images, videos etc. and we're there every step of the way to help if needed.

No, this service is built on the WordPress.org self-hosted platform. You will either need to use our included web hosting or your own web hosting account.

No we don't, but we do have two plans that can help you with that called Website Launch and Website LaunchPlus. We also have a "Do It For You" add-on. Our "DIFY" add-on prices start at £599 plus the upfront or monthly cost of joining Ready Steady Websites^® find out more about our "Do It For You" Service.

On our Website Pro plan, if you provide your logo, colours, fonts and sitemap then we'll set the website up with those elements and choose pre-designed layouts for you to then load in your content etc. using our very helpful and easy to follow tutorials on the Ready Steady Websites® Membership site.

Yes we do, if you're not happy with your purchase we'll refund you in full within 14 days of your first payment date. You will lose access to your test website and if we've put the website live for you, we'll uninstall our template from live too. Please check out our Terms of Service for all the details.

There are three ways we offer support. Firstly, you can use our tutorials in our Ready Steady Websites® membership site to answer almost all of your questions. Secondly, you can ask us on a private support ticket which you can send to us directly from our Ready Steady Websites® membership site - these are responded to via email.

Lastly, you can ask 1:1 on a 20 min Zoom call during Wednesdays 1pm to 3pm UK time. These sessions are first come, first served so have limited availability.

Our support is "unlimited" in terms of we will help you with whatever we are able to provide support with which is usually vast and far reaching. However, we do have a "fair usage" guideline with our support and will 100% be able to help you with any of the pre-loaded or recommended plugins. This is 99% of our members. If you have however installed a disallowed plugin or have had a team member working on your site and they have caused damage to the site which requires additional custom time to unpick, then there may be an additional charge.

The monthly membership has a minimum of 12 months and continues at the monthly price you signed up on. At month 12 you'll have the option to cancel your membership entirely. Your website will remain fully functional if you leave. You'll need to arrange your own hosting and plugin licences won't transfer when you leave.

Everything you'd want to. Page layouts are completely in your control, you can do hundreds of different layouts, effects and you have full control over colours, backgrounds, images, text sizing. If you get stuck, we're always available on support.

Yes you have full control over all the images you use and can upload new ones. The page layouts for our templates are there to give you something simple to work from, you can swap out all images and content, delete elements, rearrange elements. You can even create your own new layouts.

If we were to work with you one-to-one in our agency, a website with the amount of design time and functionality we have put in to our RSW designs would cost you around £5,000 per website. Not to mention the additional plugins we've included in the template cost, which if purchased separately, would cost upwards of £1,500 per year. Plus access to our tutorials and the unlimited help via private support tickets. It's a really good deal!

No, we do not load your content and images for you on our "build your own" plan. That job is for you.

If you would like us to build the whole website for you, please look at our Website aunch and Website LaunchPlus plans. We do also offer a separate service and can provide you a quote on an individual basis called our "Do It For You Service".

On Website Pro, if you provide your logo, colours, fonts and sitemap when you fill out our "Get to know you" form then you will get a cloned version of the demo website with all of the demo content and images but your website will be branded to you with your provided logo, colours and fonts.

On Website Pro if you send us a sitemap we'll provide your website on our test server with all of the pages you asked for pre-loaded with a "best guess" page layout that we think will best match the pages. The page layouts from your chosen demo will be used.

You can create as many new pages as you want and you can choose to load a pre-defined layout or create a page entirely from scratch if you like. The Page Builder is very powerful.

Yes, you can load your own videos via the Page Builder. Wherever possible we'd recommend using something like YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia to host the videos and then simply add those as embedded videos onto the website. It will make pages load faster and provide a better user experience for your customers across different devices.

Ready Steady Websites^® subscription comes with ONE ready-made website. You'll have access to our Layout Library plugin that gives you access to all of our ready-made websites page layouts.

No you don't have to have one to get started, but you'll need one before you go live.

We don't offer free domain names but we will help you choose and buy a domain name if needed. You'll need to buy your domain name and this will be at an additional cost.

We offer free website hosting for as long as you're a paying member. Alternatively, we can put the website live on your web hosting if you already have it. We will need to check your current web hosting to make sure it is compatible with WordPress.

For the most part we used load balanced servers that scale based on resources needed, so it's extremely rare to hit limits. If we do notice any spikes in terms of traffic and resources, which we assess on a case-by-case basis. If we feel that our included web hosting is no longer a good fit for your website we will contact you to offer alternative solutions based on your website file size, performance, CPU and RAM usage.

Our web hosting is powered by Cloudways and 20i. We endeavour to have your website available 24/7 and when downtime for maintenance is necessary we will inform you in advance.

No you don't have to use our included web hosting. But most of our members do because it's easier to have one point of contact for anything website related.

If you do not want to use our web hosting, we will set you up on your preferred WordPress compatible web host when you're ready to go live.

Yes, it is! We offer standard 10GB Mailboxes for our Ready Steady Websites® customers for as long as you're a paying member of one of our plans and you are using our included web hosting. Please check the "Plan Details" section per plan for how many email mailboxes you are entitled too. You can connect to these via the web or sync them to your devices.

If you're looking for a more comprehensive mailbox with additional tools like calendars, docs and spreadsheets, we recommend Google Workspace for professional level email hosting and more. We will help you connect your domain to Google Workspace for you.

No you don't have to use our included email hosting, you can use whatever system you want to host your email mailboxes

Yes we do, our care plan is included as standard. We will keep all the website software up to date and provide a monthly report of what we have updated.

We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome on Mac or Windows. The latest major version of Chrome, FireFox, Safari and Edge are all supported in terms of using the Page Builder to create layouts. iOS and mobile devices are not suited to using the Page Builder.

The websites themselves will work on all modern browsers and devices.
