I think being honest with yourself is key to making your business a success and will help you get your website finished and out there.

We work with a lot of people who say they are going to do things but they never get them done. We know they want to do these things but we can often tell when the person saying it but won’t actually do it.

We have recently discovered that we are all or nothing when it comes to business. There’s something about the way our brains work that mean we can’t focus on more than one business at once and so we have accepted that and adapted the way we work and our plans to reflect that so we acheive as much as we can and we give the best service to people as possibe.

I only share this because 13 years into business we are still learning how we work best so if you’re feeling like it’s because you’re new to business that you aren’t getting things right and getting things done, it’s not. There are learning curves all the way along a business journey.

I also know that I work best when I plan out my week, set goals for each day and then time block each day. When I do this I get everything done. Firstly because I’m realistic with my time, secondly because I like to tick everything off in my planner and thirdly because I know that each of the goals I set for the week are contributing to our overarching business and life goals.

So, when it comes to your website and getting it out there, you need to be honest with yourself about what’s stopping you.

• Do you have it clear in your mind how your finished website will help you achieve your business and life goals?
• Do you need to get more organised and actually plan in time to do it?

• Do you need to believe more in yourself and your business and realise it is worth putting it out there for people to see?
