New Year Website Goals for 2023

Happy New Year!

I love the start of a new year. I know some people feel it’s just another day but I love to see it as a fresh start, with my new planner full of the things I am determined to achieve this year.

I’m a big believer in setting new year goals because if you aim for nowhere that’s exactly where you’ll go. I used to have a poster on my office wall that said that when I was a Youth Worker and since starting our business, I’ve come to value that quote more and more because I know that without direction in our own business we don’t achieve as much and we certainly see it in other people’s businesses so we would like to help you with your 2023 plans and help you set some new year website goals.

Questions to Ask Yourself to Help You Set Your New Year Website Goals

What do you want to achieve through your website or what action do you want your website visitors to take while they are there?

Is it clear and easy for them to take that action on your website?

Is it clear what the incentive is for them to take that action? Eg. A useful free resource if they join your email list or clear evidence of what working with you will help them achieve.

Does your website help them to get to know you and your business, so they feel comfortable taking action?

Does your website reflect your brand and your message as soon as someone hits the homepage?

If the answer you have given to any of these questions isn’t positive then I would suggest you make putting this right a priority and make them your top new year website goals. If you would like to go a bit more in-depth in ensuring your website is working well for you business you can get our free 11 Point Website Checklist to help you or pick up a copy of The Website Handbook to help you get your website up to scratch to attract more leads and make sales through it.

If you are ready and raring to get back to it we hope this post has helped you but we’ve kept it short in case get back to work is still a bit too much to get your head around 😀
